Menfi and its food excellences come back on RaiTre, during Geo&Geo, the TV program interested in nature and environment. Particularly, the RAI presenters Sveva Sagramola and Emanuele Biggi, together with the cooperation of the section of Sciacca of the Regional Advisory for agriculture and food resources (SOAT), spotlight two local “Slow Food” products: the strawberry of Sciacca and the famous “Carciofo Spinoso” of Menfi, a kind of artichoke, typical of this area.
The pastry chef Giuseppe Bono, current coordinator of the Italian Federation of Pastry, Ice-cream and Chocolate making, will show how to prepare a tasty mousse, by using this kind of artichoke.
